How to declutter when your whole house feels like a mess

I’ve been thinking a lot about decluttering lately… well that seems silly to say because I think about decluttering and organising constantly! It’s my job and I’m kind of obsessed with it. I’ve been thinking about those clients who feel like their whole house is a mess, a shambles, overwhelming - that the clutter is insurmountable. How can I help these people, who are so deserving of the happiness and relaxation that comes with having an organised home, take that first step towards a clutter-free life?

Sometimes that first step is the biggest one to take when we want to make a move that feels daunting and could be life-changing. So let’s take that big first step, and let’s break it down to one small, manageable action that literally ANYONE can take. Because here is what I know is true: once something is in motion, it is easier for it to stay in motion. It’s momentum, baby! And just as it applies to a train hurtling down the track at 100km per hour, it applies to decluttering and organising your life, even when your whole house feels like a mess. That is what I want to do for you - to put you in motion and give you momentum so you can become an unstoppable force on a decluttering mission!

So what is the one small, manageable action that anyone - including you - can take? It’s booking a call with me - a 15 minute, judgement-free, get-you-on-the-move phone call. We’ll take a look at what is happening in your home, how you’re feeling about it, and give you some ideas on how you can really get stuck in after the call has finished. I’ll let you in on a secret - often, simply the act of getting on the phone with me is enough for people to be propelled into action. It’s like a secret power of mine, go figure!

“I want you to know that you’ve already triggered me to mention to someone that I have a whole heap of stuff to give away and they’re coming to pick the bed, drawers and fridge up on Sunday afternoon.”
