About Clutter Collect
Clutter Collect is a service designed for busy people who are confident at decluttering, but never quite seem to get around to moving their unwanted things out of the home. You might already have a box or bag of awesome things hanging around in the garage or spare room, waiting to be passed onto someone else!
We take the guess work out of decluttering and donating. Simply pop your unwanted things into the Clutter Box, then leave the box outside on collection day. We pick up the full Clutter Box and take it back to HQ, where the items are sorted, sanitised and tested, before being redistributed to those in our community who need them.
No more guessing what the charity shop is accepting.
No more listings on TradeMe and Facebook Marketplace.
No more time wasted on either of the above!
Clutter Collect is a feel-good, time-saving and simple way to declutter your home. Simply place your order, fill your Clutter Box, and we'll take care of the rest.
How it works
You receive an empty Clutter Box.
You have 4 weeks to fill the Clutter Box with your unwanted items.
On your pick-up date, leave your Clutter Box outside for collection.
Order another Clutter Box whenever you need to.
Clutter Collect is simple and effective. An added bonus is that your awesome, loveable stuff has another chance at life with a family who needs it.
Service Areas
Clutter Collect currently operates in Auckland, with delivery and collection of Clutter Boxes available to all suburbs in the Auckland "Super City" boundaries, except for Waiheke Island and Great Barrier Island.
We are hoping to expand to other areas of New Zealand, so please stay in touch by signing up to receive email newsletters at the bottom of this page, and follow us on Instagram and Facebook for updates.
What happens to the stuff you collect?
We bring full Clutter Boxes back to Clutter HQ where everything is sorted, washed/sanitised and tested if necessary. From there, it is redistributed within the community to those who need it, through our amazing Partner Charities. Think of it as "donating on steroids".
We also have eyes and ears in local community groups and respond to requests for support as often as we can. We've provided household goods to families in need, games and activities for a school that lost everything in Cyclone Gabrielle, and blankets for a group caring for a wild cat colony.
Pairing up your awesome, unwanted stuff with those who need it is a hands-on and bespoke process; we love playing matchmaker!

What a lovely idea... of course you can! Because we need the recipient's name, physical address, email address and mobile number in order to deliver the Clutter Boxes, we do recommend letting the giftee know as soon as possible so we don't ruin the surprise.

You absolutely can! Clutter Boxes are ideal for people who don't have the time or mobility to drop things off to the charity shops. Also for those who do have the time and mobility, but never seem to remember to get that box out of the boot of the car when they're near an op-shop!
